Demand still red hot for anything pre 68
This is nothing new I know but I haven't been studying the price of early bugs and busses for a while and now I'm browsing I'm quite shocked,at a)
how little there is on the market (in WA anyway) b) how quick anything fairly priced (think under 10k bugs & type 3s & under $20k busses) goes
- in a day or so for anything original, pre-facelifts and registered.
So what's driving it, is there a genuine shortage cos everything's been shipped overseas?
Still plenty of 70s bugs about, are they undervalued in comparison as useable dailies? They're clearly superior in terms of brakes, safety etc

I think people are seeing the crazy prices achieved for concourse cars at auctions and becoming starry eyed about achieving the same. Very few do of
course because half way through resto they realise that it costs serious coin to get a vehicle to that level.
