Need info on a purchase made today from a second hand shop of a Judson Magneto. Replaces the coil, cool looking.

Wish to know fors and against of using on daily driver or are they just for show. i purchased one from 2nd hand shop in good order for $5 yesterday.

They look awesome too..... added bonus.

Make sure that you secure the top of the magneto to something that doesnt move (maybe with a bracket to the fan shroud or something). What I have heard is that due to their extra height and weight compared to a dizzy, they can rock in the hole a bit and turn it from circular to oval........ not easy to fix.

Would look good with a Judson supercharger in an oval or old kg :)
