Security settings & access to this site

Just thought I let you know, I couldn't login at all even though Brad reset the password a few times. It turned up to be the Internet Security
settings. I had it on Medium which would let me login. When I set it to Low, I was able to login

No, that's wrong. Something has changed

KG - there is something wrong - something has changed. Brad, maybe you have the cookies being sent to "mickmotors.com.au" and the code is
asking for a cookie from "aussieveedubbers.com"?

In general, you need to allow a persistent cookies to be set on your browser if you want to stay logged in. If your security zone allows that (and by
default, Medium does), you are fine. I do not recommend anyone use "Low" on Internet Explorer as things like Gator will just install. Reset
your setting to "Medium" and it should work once Brad has fixed the cookie issue, or go for "High" and allow "User data
persistence".

The cookies it stores are like this:

xmblva=1030425191; xmbuser=vanderaj; xmbpw=9XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXb

The first one is the last time you visited in Unix milliseconds since Jan 1, 1970. The xmbuser is who you log on as. The xmbpw is your password hash
(ARGH - I've got rid of it).

Confirmed bug

Yep, I log in through mickmotors.com.au and I get cookie based authentication.

I can't do that through aussieveedubbers.com.au

Coolo. Time to fix my profile.

All fixed.

Remember - reset your Internet Explorer Internet Zone security settings to "Medium" or "High". This site will never require
anything more permissive than that.

I couldn't get in last night, but got straight in this morning.
As we all know, I don't stuff with the settings, so it may be some sort of hiccup with the site.

Well my friends are gone & my hair is grey, I ache in the places where I used to play.
