jaycar ignition and 009

anyone know if this: www1.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KC5247 would burn out the resistor in a 009 rotor button?
(it's inductive i think, not a CDI)

TIA

I don't know, but I doubt it. It is after all, designed to be run with as many different ignition types as possible. I see no reason why the 009 should be different. :)

rotor button

yep certainly will the best thing to do is grab a bit of sheet brass and dig out the resistor then replace it with the brass ,solder it in place then stick a bit of good epoxy over the center of the brass plate you just soldered in there to hold it all together, another thing have a good look at your leads as the enhanced spark will fix them up as well:beer:beer:beer:beer:beer:beer:beer:beer:beer
