Personally,
I like BRM's but colour coded stockies look cool too. Are you planning on having it finished for when you get your license? pretty cool first car if you are.

HEy welcome Dom to the world of t3's.

I would go BRM's But not black, the natural finish looks sweet with the outer spokes polished. Or you could go for Radar (sorry about the spelling!) replicas.

those wheels are made by http://www.randarwheels.com.  They cost about $1000 USD a set. And the fully chromed ones are $1200 USD. Nice wheels. And Randee, the guy who makes them, is the man.

NO site yet, We NEED to get one up soon.
Maybe as soon as we get some of the cars out there....

Not sure of the cost though! I think in the states they are around 1000 for a set, but dont know how much they would be here.

Hey Dom, good to see a youngster getting into the type 3s! I'm a BRM man myself, but be warned! Clearance problems on the rear guards & the wheels are pretty pricey!! They almost set me back the price I paid for my square!!

YOu can get 4.5 inch BRM's That will fix any Clearence problem, or you can use short axles.

Yeah, I'll be investigating short axles soon! I've rolled the guards, but still only have about 2mm clearance. So short axles it is!

Who says you need rims anyway?

Chromed Wide 5's only just beat 17" BRMs with adapter plates..
