your fuel consumption?

I am having difficulty finding out what kind of fuel consumption to expect from different engine combinations.

What kind of fuel consumption do you get from your engines? what spec are they and what vehicle are they in?

Hmmm, didn't get many replies...

Stocker gets about 32 mpg from memory (as claimed by VW.) Extractors can add 1-2mpg. An Engle W100 or equivalent will pull this back close to stock (but it depends how you drive it,) but dual carbs will lift it back up there (Kadron/Solex.)

From there, a W110 with dual 40IDF's can give 28-30, wilder cams will dramatically increase consumption, usually (though stroking and boring can offset this.) The best I've heard of with an FK8 is 24, but I think that was a pure highway run.

Hope that helps a little. Basically, once you get past about a W110 or equivalent, a heck of a lot depends on how well everything is matched and set up, and how the car is driven.

29 - 30 mpg.

Pretty good I think.
