Ultra VW magazine!

I just received the first two issues of the mag, and I am extremely impressed, this is awesome heaps better than volksworld.
probably more of a magazine for the modifier than the purist. Does anybody know whether they will be selling them here?

I got mine on subscription and it works out reasonably cheap and they get here within a couple of days of being released in the Uk.
How cool was the samba in issue 2 though Rhett? My personal fave was the rat look 51 bug on 16" porscvh erims

http://www.ultravw.co.uk  from memory. You can do it all over the website and if you get a 2 year subscription you save a fair bit too.

looks like it is 98 US$ for a year flown into the US
what would that maker the aussie copy $200 a year for 12 issues = over $15 a copy.
Might have to organise a time share arrangement with someone:o

Website is http://www.ultravw.com  It would cost about $165 airmailed from the UK ($13.75 per issue) Not much different than the cost of Volksworld per issue, but it hurts a bit to pay in 1 go!

If you take out a 2 year subscription you pay about $11 an issue. You're right though, it does sting a bit paying it all up front. Can't beat getting the mag 3 months before everyone else though.

Went into McGills today. They don't sell them:(

But while I was checking out the mags Golde60 came up and started looking at mags too:cool:

We had a laugh about meeting there, talked cars and went our way. It was pretty neat though:thumb
