yep


you can fit a V8 in there if you want to. :o

The EFI as it sits stock would be a PITA as the FI stuff sits on top which makes it hard to go upright which in turn means you need to custom build stuff, mess with teh FI or cut the crap out of you bug and run the factoty T4 cooling..

can i get aftermarket efi to fit a 1600. looking for a strong dependable motor was thinking efi 1640. got maybe two grand two spend on redoing motor and want to do it all myself if i can. was thinking efi would cut hassle of twin carbies etc. i know where theres a cheap 2ltr efi kombi but big mods out of question at moment as i am beginner mechanic
