found this speedo on ebay can or would it fit a 65 beetle and how would you calibrate it ( very nice vw split bug 120 kph clear needle speedo works nice looks great. )

They don't need calibrating, just stick it in the dash and hook up the speedo cable,
I have bought two of these kmh speedos.
Its already calibrated to the speedo cable.
It Will fit Your 65 no worries....
Go for it... I have... I love 'em...

I bought two of them, one with a Fuel gauge and one without.
One was very expensive and one wasn't so expensive....
They ALL fit and work....

Thats a nice speedo wadd. It will fit the 65 no worries. With the clear needle it has probably come out out of a Oval or real early big window beetle 58/59.
There should be a date stamped on the back to tell you month and year of manufacture.
If you got it for a good price then it is a real score.
