hello everybody!

is there any diffrence between the right and left emergency brake cables on a 1970 bug?

No difference at all.

You will proberly find that someone has replaced one cable before and the other is stretched.

When a cable brakes both cables should be replaced at the same time otherwise you will get the problem you have now.

Hand Brake cables-- emergency - never***


That must be a common thing as I have NEVER seen two hand brake cables the same length...
one is always a lot longer..
I wouldn't have thought that a cable that thick - would stretch !!!!
