Woop! Finally Got Twins Installed!
It's been raining so I haven't had a chance to give it a real whirl but the increase in performance is great. I used to have a single Weber
(drank petrol like your can't believe) so I removed that and put a standard carby on while I searched for twins. The twins are very loud
compared to those previous 2 setups but it's a great sound! Thanks to Nick at Volksbahn for sourcing and installing everything!

Would be interested to know the economy and performance ratio's compared to twin dual throats!
Have heard thet dual throats are very thirsty (ok I know it's common sense, but)

Duals are only thirsty if not jetted properly.
Single 2 bbls can be thirsty cause they can be a pig to jet.
I am running IDFs and they are giving me much better economy than when i had the PICT. Round town stop start i am getting 9km/L and i have had up to
14km/L doing Sydney - Newcastle - Sydney
Dual single bbls i would guess would/could be just under duals. The Duals are more tuneable per pot and much shorter manifols - less time for fuel to
condense
I think the ICTs would have better circuitry and bowl desing than the Kads. Would love to hear from someone who has run both??
A fair few on the Bus Barn forum put these on the busses in stead of the stock twin Picts

Likewise Blue, I'd love to hear from someone who has run both.
I'd guess that the Kadrons would come out slightly on top in terms of power, purely becuase of the larger bore (but having said that I dont know
what size venturis ICT's come with ?)
I've got Kadrons on my motor now (pulled off a wrecked bug, cleaned and installed, and runs brilliantly, with prqactically no flat spot...), have
40IDF's but no one in Perth who knows how to set them up (they were off a Fiat apparently), and dont know what venturis / jets are in them either
!!!!
Also have a set of ICT's in Dads shed somewhere too......
