12v conversion
what parts are involved in converting 6v to 12v...I have a 1960 bettle and need to convert.....
anyone who can help????

I think this have been done before, but you need Battery, Generator, coil, regulator, globes, blinker can for a start.
The wiring will handle the voltage and if your going to replace the flywheel then you need a starter as well.
Also a voltage drop resister on the windscreen wiper motor.
