Type 3 manifold will it fit a type 1 ?
will dual weber maifolds off a type 3 fit a TP type 1 engine ?

yes but they will be bloody short and difficult to fit, especially the back nuts

Will the hex bar clear the genny???
I would have thought the manifolds would need to be higher.
Mine only just clear the alternator with my Type 1 manifolds

Yeah i suspose your right about the linkage. Although you could lengthen the push rods that go from linkage bar to throttle shafts...
Decisions decisions.
the shorter mainfold would give less torque if hes worried about that as well.

So less torque and the linkage won't fit.
Best to stick to type 1 parts then I guess  |

Less torque hay I thought manifold length just moved the power band up & down the rev range.
Could someone please explain this to me.
