I found this a while ago but didn't read it very well. I've only just noticed that they talk about converting VW bug gearboxes to foot shift
and chain drive. how the hell would you do that? and could you do it here legally? any ideas?
heres the article:

Other cool stuff includes a seat from a WWII anti-aircraft gun, gas tank made from an oil drum, parts from Saab & Datsun cars etc. And all 100%
road legal!"
