Grimace Surgery worked

yes Yes, Grimace seems fixed, the doors now close and no play with the pillar!,

Apparently there was a heap of bog and instead of replacing the pillar they welded where the bog was instead. fixed it right up!.

Apart from the lack of cleaning dust from the car, Im rather happy with the panel beaters, job ended up being $308, Altho I guess time will tell with the doors,

Well Im planing on giving grimace a repsray soon, Im not sure of its original colour but I think its either Beryl Green or Turqoise, it seems a Darker green then turqoise but VW will be able to give me a sure answer.

So there you have it

Glad to hear that grimace is ok.
My buzz is in having some surgery done as we speak.

Great to hear Grimace is fixed & you are happy with him.
Hopefully problem solved....
When you decide on a colour for him are you going to change his name?
Happy cruising

Hey Hey..:D
Grimace is all fixed up! glad you got her sorted, it's a common problem area with Beetles, not much of a hassel to fix.
And she still lives with you...;)
