ARRRRR!!! Dubs multiplying
I remember back to when i first move to Victoria, and here we where driving a VW Golf Mk1, people incorrectly identified it cos they had never heard
or em etc. In the last year or so they have multiplied heaps, driving such a car used to be almost sacrilege, now i am finding there is heaps getting
on the road. And its freaky, more other dubs too, i think the idea is catching on!!! When i drive to uni i often pass at least one Golf, whether it be
a mk1 or mk3.4 not any mk2s sorry. And i see Kombis too. I am tempted to wave to em. I am wondering where they all suddenly appeared from, like they
where in exile and now they have been released or something. Just my thoughts at the moment. 3 dubs in our yard helps he he. So i say the more the
merrier just :o

I was only saying the same thing to my husband the other day. I rarely used to see VW's on the road, now I see them all the time !!! It is ace, I
love to see them on the road. As for the waving business I wave so much that my hand is getting sore and people think that I am a lunatic !
I was driving my dad's car the other week (he owns a ford falcon). I saw a great cream colored beetle and I waved, the male driver must have
thought that I was a weirdo ..... I just forgot that I was not driving my beetle !

Hey!
I never used to notice dubs much, but ever since Kombi joined the family, I always smile in delight at seeing a fellow busser or bug-ger. (Hmmm,
hyphenate, yes).
I saw a _beautiful_ splitty in Oakleigh the other day: amazing. I've never (!) seen one driving. I don't spend much time on the roads I
guess. The splitty was green/cream, with lots of windows - maybe 23. The dude had a beautiful old porsche in his garden - and the plates on the
splitty were "51 356", which seemed to be on the wrong car. Hmm.
I got a return wave from a kombi when I was riding my pushy (bike) at 2am recently. Wave on, dubbers!
Aurel.

I often see beetles, buses and type 3's, at least one of each every day. I am often tempted to wave if they look like a passionate dubber, but
since my bug is unregistered it would be silly for me to wave from a toyota corolla!!
But i see a lot of kombis that don't appear to have good owners, and i don't feel like waving at them.
