developing a penchant for the square

I know its an addiction im developing... seems im thinking about buying a t3 square to use as a daily driver so i can start really fixing up the bug (cant fix a car when you drive it around every day)

so im putting a post out for all you type 3 types, what are the pros and cons of driving a *totally stock* type 3 square.
Im looking for reliability issues, fuel consumption, rust, servicability, ride/handling and general price.

im not after anything super-dooper, just something thats not going to rattle and shake when i take it for its daily 10km drive from home to uni and work, something thats not going to break down when i drive it up the coast and back and will hopefully fit in all the grocery shopping. Ideally im hoping theres a decent square out there for under $2K, i dont care about the paint job (infact i love the rat-look square) as long as the interior is decent. and of course... id like it to be running and not have too many engine problems!

i know my perfect square is out there, i just need to know what i'll be letting myself in for before i start disecting the bug.

cheers!:thumb
