turbo diesel in split bus


Has anyone had any experience with or heard of anyone putting a small turbo diesel, ie golf etc in a Split Bus?

16v split


canberra vw centre have fitted a 16v golf motor running on pure LPG to there split ute....what a beast!!!!, nice fit too,

Thanks for that Rustybug, I think the two engines are about the same size and they mate up to the same gearboxes so it's a start.
By the way thanks for not asking me why yhe hell I want to do it in the first place!
