Goodbye LRP Petrol - Good riddance -

The fuel that No One likes and very few people use.... is being phased out and will soon be unavailable ... So if You are THE person still using LRP fuel... You had better start filling the drums up...:D:D:bounce
Good Bye LRP .. I won't be missing You..:bounce:o:D

I've been using Optimax anyway. Although Jay has been feeding Mr Fasty more than I ever have.

I been using unleaded for a while now. I notice the loss in power and switch to optimax when I'm going out in the sand or going to cruise the freeway as the hills arn't as steep. I badly need a carby kit so here's hoping that the clutch cable isn't going to set that back another week.

I keep forgeting that I have to feed the kids as well. Mabey next week! :(
Last week it was the master cylinder.

Mr Fasty will need lots of work now you let Miss SpeedFreak have it. Be sure to ask for the floor pan to be straightened out where the accelerator has been pushed through the floor.

Lucky she didnt have it for too long. You seen the pedal in Wolf?? *shakes head*

Mr Fasty is in the right hands then! :-) My cars demand to be driven fast... I'll tell you a story.

On the first night I dropped Mr Fasty off with J, I was teaching her all the quirks I knew of. All VW's have quirks, and I'm sure she can teach me about all the ones I didn't find :).

Anyway, the engine started racing whilst idling. J swore it had nothing to do with her, then I noticed the carpets had ridden up. :) Gotta love carpet induced random acceleration.

Soon, Mr Fasty will be back at my place or at the resto place (depends on funds). We'll get the accelerator and dodgy carpet sorted out then.

More interesting random accelleration can be caused by sticky accellerator cable :bounce:bounce

Ever tried flatshifting 1st 2nd and 3rd ?

bit scarey :)

I've had sticky accelerator pedal problems... ugh! Was nice to find that the problem with Mr Fasty WAS just the carpet.

Amazer - I would like to remind you that there were NO problems with the kombi after I started driving it!
Oh yeah - and I wasn't the one who drove into an awning.

:o heeey. the awning is a secret! At least no VW was damageed in the process. And I bet that awning needed painting anyway.

You just changing the subject cos you don't want to admit that the kombi was fine after I started driving it.
