i prefer stock look... so i got flared pea shooters... u can get a tuck away and weld stock pea shooters on =D im considering a tuckaway zoom tube
with welded pea shooters

had big muffler and extractors but found I was canning it all the time
so went with a stock with straight tips, not pea shooters, bit deeper soundingwith a stock look.
also bought a Zoom tube for the bug but might keep that for the splitty

Depends on the car , style etc and your own taste. For me it works like this but thats only me
Big muffler+ big motor = yes i look fat and yes i can move rather quickly if desired = very , very , very cool
Big muffler+ average / small motor= yes i look fat but it's all a con , all mouth and no action but i'll rev the balls out of it anyway = very
uncool (nearly became a victim but saw the light)
Average motor + pee shooters = yes i sound like a bug and yes i have original styling + yes suprisingly quick for a stocker = very cool
Big motor+ pee shooters = fu**ing stupid !
Maybe a hideaway? Maybe i shut up and let you choose yourself. A muffler can be a very personal thing so do what YOU want to do.

Muffling along!
I've got stock exhaust and staight chrome tail pipes!
It whistles along, adds to the character,I guess!
I like the quiet core mufflers,if I had to renew the stock one.
brum,brum!

my baja has twin cannons and no mufflers to speak of, after driving it for a while i would go for a much quieter exhaust if i was given the choice
now, its not cool warming up my car at 2.30am at my girlfreinds place while the rest of the neighbour hood (including her family) are trying to
sleep.......i would go for the hideaway quiet exhaust.....im not a huge fan of the pea shooter look unless its on a complete stocker......i think that
even on a slightly custom ride that a decent exhaust can set it off

when i first got my oval i bought this custom system that ran down the drivers side with a turbo muffler, did a U turn at the end of the gearbox and
came back down the passenger side with a hot dog style muffler and exited the left exhaust hole with a dummy tip welded onto the right side. heavy
stuff, alot of piping but it looked ok.
sadly a "backyard" mechanic cut it up one night wen working on my car and never gave it back to me. asshole.

the guy works in newcastle for one of the vw mechanics. cant say much else coz this city can be quite a small place wen it wants to be.
i was a little naive and lacking much cash at the time and took him up on his offer to work on my car at home for cheap.
sadly the work done was pathetic, he damaged my Oval and some of my stuff and still tried to get 3 times the amount out of me that we agreed upon. i
later found out he isnt even a trained mechanic.
i learnt a big lesson.
