=== Stickers ===
=== Interest & Preferences ===
Sorry for the delay, we have been having internet problems and changing ISP's hasen't helped any.
This is not an application form stickers. It is a gague of how much interest their is and what colours everyone wants. I have not set a price but it
will be definately under the $15 mark per sticker and a second sticker sent with the first will be under the $12 mark. Depending on the interest in
the first batch I hope to get it much lower.
As I haven't set up a seperate check account all initial orders will only be by money order, future order will include cheque - do not not send
cash through the post and by sending checks will only delay everyone while it clears as I haven't got the funds to cover it.
The initial batch will be either small (50x350mm) or medium (~60x450mm) and will only consist of ten orders. You can order as many as you like and
only the first will incur the postage.
If you are interested please list here your first three preference of colours and I'll see what I can do with the supplier.
e.g. -
"I would be willing to buy a small and two medium in either (1) Chrome, (2) White or (3) Orange. Cheers - A VeeDub Member.
This is my E-mail address veedubmem@2cool4u.com"
Please make sure you give me you email - either here or E-mail me if it's a state secret - I won't pass it on, but at least let me know here
if you've emailed me so I can check and include you on my list.
If ten are interested then I'll use the first ten posted here and negotiate the colours with whats available and then give you a definate price
depending on the total amount ordered.
Do not send any money yet - I don't want to be sending change.
Another Aussieveedubbers Forum Project.
Edit-
To stop conbastards claiming to be me and asking you for $'s to be sent to their mailing address I will post my details so you know when a false
conbastard is trying to suck dollars from you.

Just to be difficult eh Guys!:P
No to both - This is my first go at this - maybe when we / I get more experienced.
For now I just want to start off small, get it going right and they tailor things. There is a hologram vynal available but I don't know if I can
offer it, but it is one I can suggest if you like.
I hope that once a this can get started again I can offer a range of AVD stickers and sell them outright, for now I just need to know what interest
their is.

Yeah I will - Set clear boundaries and be firm and fair to all involved. And I mean No!
Mate as far as stickers go you can do anything you like but it's not me you have to ask as I'm only reproducing them. Mabey down the line
the logo will be incorperated into a more square design with perhaps the logo above the aussieveedubbers.com address / title but if you want to make
up your own which uses the logo you will have to speak to Jim I guess. If you plan to sell them, (which you said you wouldn't) again you will
need to speak to Jim. Never know, they might be a hit and you can supply them too .
Obviously he's conscious to ensure the logo and the quality is suitable before people start buying them. I know I would be pissed if I shelled
out to wait for some cheap blow off paper weight be sent to me.

Quality of stickers is really important. I have bought stickers (from tourist info centres, not clubs, so far) that started peeling or fading from the
day they went on. Others I have bought (like AussieVeedubbers.com and club stickers) have been of excellent quality. I prefer the latter.:thumb

Responce - Stickers
Ok so correct me if I'm wrong but the vibe I'm getting - (apart for the bad one) is white and chrome. Cool, Other than out two difficult
boys who I've moved up the front next to met to keep a closer eye on the feeling is that I should easily sell 10, therefore I'm not going to
have to cover a tonne of costs myself, because I can't.
Yes I do believe past orders are an issue, and probably not good PR from a sales perspective but all the same I have some responsibility I guess. If
the sticker have not been done for whatever reason I'm more than happy to follow that up. If they have been done and according to Jim apparently
all past orders have and are in the process of being sent then, but that was a couple of weeks ago when I last spoke to him (sorta through ICQ).
Prices won't be anywhere near 15 dollars a sticker and they will be good quality, vynal cut stickers. The postage is nearly the most expensive
part so I'm going to trial a different method of posting when I send Jim the trial and see how much it costs and in what state it arrives in at
the other end. I'm hoping that small stickers will be about $9 and medium and large about 10.50 - $11.00 with second stickers cheaper. When I
have the costings done and the quality passed you can download a sheet, tick the boxes, fill in the postal address and enclose a money order to that
value.
David - you might like to have a word to Jim, Brad or whoever is running the forum and see about screenprinting up some shirts. I think there is
somthing in the pipeline but its always good to have some alternatives available I guess. I got a Klub VW screenprinted sticker in the Dog-O-War and
don't like it much as it's on a clear base and I couldn't keep the dust and fingerprints out from under it. Fortunately they've
sent me a better one as a replacement.
Sizes- Well yes that would be important!
Small = 50mm x 350mm (As pictured)
Medium = ~60mm x 450mm (~sign means about)
Large = ~>70mm x 550mm.
Any greater then this will obstruct a drivers or rear view vision but is required larger can be made.
To give you some idea, a toilet roll is 100mm in width and a core diameter of 45mm. Just in case you can't find a rule and the kids snapped you
tape measure end.

As I have mentioned in the past, there is some owing, and I think what might be easier is that if I send up the envelopes, (money still sitting in
them) to Bronze as a group, and see if he can take it from there.. At least then he would be a little more reliable than the pathetic efforts of I..

Prices tonight-
There will be definate prices posted tonight and over the weekend I will develop a sheet you can print off and post to me with your orders.
I will also post what other colours you can have to choose from as I don't want to limit you all to just chrome and white, although both fine
choices they are.
I've been away a couple of days finding a new home. The sample stickers I pick up and send today, thats if I can fit into a post office!

Sticker Prices -
Ok - Just posted off the sample to Jim.
Being Christmas he won't get it until about Friday next week.
The prices are *drum roll*
... cocktails = $8 (350mm wide)
... Hotdogs = $10 (450mm)
... Bratwurst = $12 (550mm)
The supplier dosent want buyers to feel limited by what colour they choose as he has literally hundreds to choose from.
examples are -
Chrome (the nonbubbling type)
Silver metalic
Gold metalic
Lime Green
Hot Pink and
White are some of the automotive favourites but he can do literally any. If you want a sticker colour matched you will need to include a photo which
will be returned with the order.
The only other added cost will be postage which will be $1.00 if you want them returned by envelope (with a spine so there not bent, or postpack which
will be $3.00.
I will develop an order form this week which will hopefully be available to print off and all you have to do is tick the boxes, choose colour
preferences, sizes and add up the cost to post to me with a money order.
Merry Christmas.
