ABs or not
hey. i am curious. is it possible to use the falcon brakes from a EB S-pac. which uses ABS. ??. even if u do not use the ABS. can you just use the
discs?. onto a 71 BEetle?

The front calipers will NOT fit as they do not have the standard PBR style mounting system.
They use a 2 bolt system: 1 on the horizontal plane as per VWs and 1 on the vertical plane. So mounting them would very difficult given that welding
of brake components is illegal in Australia. Maybe look to other cars, like Nissan or Mazda or Holden (though holden rear calipers are a problem!).

welding is not illegal as long as you get it welded by a pro and that it's x rayed.
I had a set of welded dropped spindles on a car that went thru the pits,i had to get them x rayed and then it was ok.
