Can we seperate the for sale section???
Can we seperate the for sale section into parts for sale and cars for sale? Not to the degree the samba is or anything. Just means cars will stay
near the top longer as they sometimes take more time to move where as parts move generally more quickly.
Just an idea. Anyone else agree, disagree? |

Were not expecting ebay Andrew. We all seriously bow down and thank you for your tireless slavery on our behalf.
What about a parts price comparison database for all the dealers while were at it? Ha ha - just dreaming!
I was actually thinking it would be nice to add a couple of custom smilies like traffic lights if people don't want their posts being hijacked. You
know - like a red card at the footy. If I made some, would you be interested in whacking them in? Or does it sound like too much work?

You'd have to separate the forum into purist conservatives and basket cases then. I know where I belong!
Do people really get that worked up about craziness in their threads? If they do, maybe they could add a field to their member profiles for "serious
only" or something? Like a "no junk mail" sign on the letterbox?
This is a serious suggestion BTW.
Sorry to the Moderators for opening yet another can of worms.

Most people know who the moderators are. Most moderators are looking and participating several times a day.
Just ask and a message can be edited if it is warranted.
I keep my eye on the Paint & body section and am always there to offer advice, and also edit if need be. Fortunatley that section seems to attract
mostly serious posts.
If you have a more serious question, posting in a more serious area - Tech, Conversions, Racers etc will get you to more people that are into seroius
stuff.
In my opinion what is posted in General Chit Chat is open for anyone to reply and go silly (within the boundries). I actually quite enjoy the tangents
that a lot of those posts end up on.

As long as the post is in general chat, then it should be just that.
No complaints as long as we're not abusing or being totally out of order, there are serious forums for serious subjects. I also enjoy coming on for a
laugh with some of these posts, I can read them for hours. The VW's brought us together but the general chat forum let's us speak about anything.
Pulling the thread back though, I think having a separate forum for complete vehicle sales would be useful as posts would stay current for longer.

C'mon Hellbus the 1916 comment was a joke. Do you think i'd seriously open that bloody debate! Anyway stroke it and do it properly ha ha ha!!!!!
Tangents , stupid posts , thats what this place is about but best kept to the General Chat forum. The idea of not having to sift through heaps of
parts to find a car does sound good though.
Your all crazy crazy people and thats why we love ya!!!!
