Amberley air base VW'S
I was at the RAAF air base doing a painting quote this morning , I saw a couple of F1-11s and F18s (boring) I even had to go into a sealed top secret
room for a look around (I'd tell you what was in there but then I'd have to kill you),but what caught my attention the most was a kombi sitting
under a carport and next to it was a beetle ute. Now I dont know whether these were jet powered stealth vehicles or some recruits personal transport
but I am curious. They stood out amongst the top- gun- wanna -bee's type vehicles. Anyone on the forum know who they belong to?

Sorry but they weren't F-18's they were F-5's over here on exercise.
Your right, some people live on the base and the carports are for their vehicles. I have seen them aswell.

helicopters are not the problem, i would be more worried about a caribu falling out of the sky.
some people are like slinky's
they have no useful purpose
but they are fun to watch
when you push them down the stairs
