Hi Chris,
Probably the first things to ask would be , who built it, what are the specs, how many k's does it have on it, any receipts for the work & the
parts inside etc. I'm sure some of the other guys will have some more ideas for u.
I'm pressumming that it's a type 4 not type 1?
Where abouts are u located? What type of money are they asking for it? Its generally cheaper to buy a hot motor that someone else has built rather
than purchasing all the bits yourself, but at the same time u don't want to be buying someone elses problem, what are the reasons they are selling
it?
Hope this helps
regards
Jak

MOTOR
YES IT IS TYPE 4 IT IS A VW SHOP AND HE HAS A FEW MOTORS FOR SALE I JUST LIKE THE SOUND OF THIS ONE

U could ask around as to the Quality of the engines that the workshop builds, try to find customers that have his engines & see what they think?
Get as much info & feedback as possible that u can get before u han over your hard earned dosh.
regards
Jak

I agree with Jako ,do your homework first find out the specs get the price, the hp and torque and let us know this could be interesting then should be able to let you know what is it worth.JVLRacing

They should be able to start it for you.

Take ya VW mechanic with you and have him check it too.
Find out why it's being sold and check out the car it came out of preferably.
