kombi driver in the gap brisbane

Just wondering if any of the many kombi drivers, (and there are a lot of you out there) in and around the gap area visit this site. There are enough of us to have our own rally!
Swap meet would be good though. BBQ?

re Kombi drivers in the gap brisbane

Well I'm not IN the Gap, but I drive through there often enough, and I do wave.... Look out for a blue camper, currently undergoing spot rust restoration (so it's starting to look like a lovely blue sky with little fluffy clouds - a look I'm growing quite fond of!)
I'm in Toowong, so if that's near enough, count me in!

Don't forget the Bad little buggers VW club, and the VW drivers club of Queensland.

http://home.acenet.net.au/lex.morley/blbvw/

http://www.geocities.com/vwdcqinc/

Both are active here in Brissy, and regularly have runs/events and organise swap meets. I've found both to be open to Kombi drivers, and are happy for you to join in even if your not a member.

Keep an eye out for Andy, a red and white '77 Deluxe currently sporting FWD tyres and a full length roof rack.
