---Pop Quiz 3---

Interesting to note that Ferdinand Porsche was not Adolf Hitlers first choice to develop the car we know and love so much. The first man we should consider when praising vw history in awe is Joseph Ganz. He was actually the first man chosen by Hitler to build the German "peoples car". He also coined the cars name to be developed the "Volkswagen" and even did some ground work towards the first prototype models.

Porsche was Ganz' successor at the order of Hitler the political motivation for an affordable German car for that time.

Ganz fled Gremany while Porche took hold of the reigns of the Volkswagen concept. He had already developed the prototypes , the 1932 zundapp "Volksauto" and the 1934 NSU Volksauto.

Sorry, it was late-

"Why is it not well known that Ganz was the psuedo-founder of Volkswagen? This was also the reason why he fled Germany" What was the reason?

I'll post the correct answer after 20 posts.

I guess it depends on your perspective I suppose but yes the answer is that...

He was Jewish

Adolf Hitler did not know of that at the time of appointing him to develop and produce the Volkswagen. When Hitler found out he was Jewish, Ganz high tailed it out of Germany before any ill could come his way from Hitlers many facist tentacles.

I apologise for any confusion as religion is not my strong point and is my current research topic at the moment, as is Australian History.
