U should have told me u were going to be up this way Barry, I'm only 15 minutes away from where u were staying.

Keith, the 2387 sounds like a ball tearer!! can't wait to see it run!

Dave, it would be awesome to see Boris's car on the Dyno, Richard has told me some pretty awesome stories regarding that car.

Will be good to have u there Jon.

XXX1.8t, (sorry don't know your name) it's $50 & if we have over 20 cars it's $45, it would be really interesting to see the what the Audi could put out.

The 2800cc is a type 4 motor built by Richard Holzl at V-Force. It sounds like a V8 just idleing!!!

Sounds good.

Oettinger claim 143kw with the chip,
10kw with turbo back exhaust, and maybe couple more kw's with the cold air intake hopefully i get 155kw - 158kw as they claim

that 2800 sounds like a monster is it a VW engine?

BTW im Costa :thumb:cool::):D

Keith, u don't want to lend me that motor to scare some Porsches this year do u? they wouldn't know what hit them if I turned up with that in the back of my beetle. Makes my 1880cc look pretty whimpy! LOL! Did have to take any meat out of the cam to get the 86mm crank in? I've heard that someties it's necessary.
Costa, it will be interesting to compare your modern machinery against our little lawnmower engines, & yes the type4 2.8l is in a street car, u will see it on the day, nice car, 4 wheel disks, aero guards, 16 inch wheels etc etc.
Apparently nothing on the street has come near it yet!

lol grey 57, i'll only go half throttle because i cant afford to buy them a new dyno :D

yeah joe's 2.8L type 4 is originally an engine richard built for his tube frame & beetle bodied circuit racer. Estimated 200+ HP at the flywheel. It breaks traction going uphill up to 3rd gear. It'll break traction when u floor it at about 2000RPM on the highway.
joe had to make some induction plumbing because the induction noise from his dells made it sound like a harley!

to put it short

.. its a beast.

That 2800 sound like an animal!

hopefully i get around 110kw-120kw at the flywheel.

As for my modern machinery I like the old engines as they are much less complicated. With my engine there is too much electronics involved where if a sensor is dirty or not plugged in properly the car wont run at full boost etc, etc.

Should be a good day hopefully someone takes some pics of all these hot dubs and my Audi:cool:
