135's on the front


just put the 135's on the pront of the bug.. but they tyre guy said the speedo will be out now.. does the speedo read from the front wheels? i thought it'd b the rears...

if it is out, anyone know by how much??

they read from the fronts, i dont think it puts it out. if it does not much......your speedo will be faster than what ur goin cos there is a smaller diameter tyre so you wont get booked.....

Just remember that MOST of your braking is done by the FRONT tyres.....

so be careful.... You now have a very small footprint compared to 165s...

Speedo cable goes to Left Hand front hub... with the hub cap off You can see the small square bit sticking thru the grease cap held with an "e" clip [circlip]..

puts the speedo out by heaps, reads a lot faster 20-25%

i went back to 165,s the 135,s handled crap slide in the wet, under steer,
but thay look good




i thirt of some thing funny and stupid to write here then i forgot it

I got 125's for the front of the dragcar,Gonna use em on the front of the Cal Look when its finished.
Might not handle the best,but who cares when it looks that good!

whats it cost to get the speedo adjusted?

need the smallies on the front for lowering they seem alright.. my grandpa was yakkin on about how the tread pattern on them is the best ever made.. (well when he was a tyre salesman.. back in tha day)
