thanks!
i'm having a tough time deciding what to do with the paint job....
i spend far too much time every day on type 3 selecta playing around with ideas.
i bought a sample of vw cobalt blue and chinchilla grey, my initial idea was (assuming that i still like the colours) to do the main body in blue with
grey roof, bumpers and other ex-chrome work....
but now i'm thinking of maybe reversing that, or even going back to the drawing board (selecta ) and coming up with another colour combo....
i'm also thinking about ditching the trim and having the holes welded up while the bodywork is being done.
it's all a bit much sometimes!!! :duh

Kai, I would go gun metal grey, while keeping all the chrome, it would look mad!

for now i'm gonna use the wheels i bought of danny, it has standard steelies on at the mo.....
i just got the tyres taken off the rims (the mags not the steelies) and i'm gonna polish them up to within an inch of their life.
i'd love a big set of porsche rims, but then i would need a big set of porsche brakes to go with them..... i just havn't got that kinda $$$ (yet
)
i'm busy modifying another selecta pic, i'll post it up here shortly, it'll be my most up to date idea of how i want it too look (read: i'll
probably change my mind on most aspects of it in the coming months :duh )

been polishing the wheels up...they come up really nice!
the only thing i can't decide at the mo. is whether to continue the black detailing on the wheels, 2 of them are nearly done, 2 not even started yet.
the problem is, i really like the way the non-detailed wheels look........so, do i paint, or strip paint.....
here's a piccy:

the top one was already polished, and has had the black detailing started. the left one i have polished and the right one i have half polished.....
