I know this might be a really stupid question, but could anyone tell me if any other model decklid will fit onto a 56 oval?? :duh

All will fit-but up to about 66( any with the " T " handle ) will fit straight on.The later ones with the bottom flattened off will need to have the
rear panel changed.I have a 73 on my Oval with a late fuel injected rear panel.

I have to ask........
Why would you put a 73 rear end with aero gaurds on an oval???
Then fit a blade bumper back on it???
Just asking.......

I was thinking the same, rear lid I can imagine because of a bigger engine, Aero 's because of wider tyres,
but the blade does look a bit small.

Don't worry William, i agree with Karmen, will look awesome when painted. Only difference I would make is get rid of the risers on the bumper, but
that's just me!! Just the blade will do me fine Can't wait to
see it finished. Mine will look very similar on the outside, but with the ej20t suby motor

I bought the whole car to get other bits.Engine cover was about the only thing I ended up using-have swapped a lot of the bits for things I can use.
Swapped the motor minus all the tinware, carb and genny for a good 73 Kombi with a good motor, but with a stripped spark plug. Want to use the front end
bits and trans in my Splitty Van one day.
