Clear Coat Guru's Wanted <---
Clear Coat over Steel Rims - Any suggestions?
Getting the Rims Sandblasted and looking for a clear that will stick to the steel with out any under coat. thinking I will just run some Prepsol over
it before spraying the clear.
Bronze.
PS- No, powdercoating is not an option.

A good powdercoating shop should have a clear powder coat.
I have done this to some of my rims and it works great.
Benefits from being baked at 180 degree's,
So it comes all nice and very hard wearing.
Doesnt flake like 2pac does over time either.

the runs/bubbles would have gernied off because you have to abraid the surface your spraying on.. regardless of wether you prepsol or not.. paint wont
stick to a shiney surface..
bud putting clear over too coarse scratches will look funny too :duh
