There is a new alloy sump available in Germany! It is 2" shorter and holts original oil capacity. It is a two-piece-unit.
Check out http://www.bugat5speed.de  It is all german but click on Angebot then click on Subaru-boxer and then click on Mehr... Alu-Ölwanne is alloy sump. The price is 295 Euros

sump

I can read it, I am a German. If You got a question ask me. No modified pick up with the sump. But it is pretty easy to shorten it. I did it to mine, you just got to cut a little piece out and weld it back together. I shortened my original sump and widened it at the bottom. That way it only lost 0,7 liter oil capacity. A friend of mine uses the same setup for 4 Years and never had any trouble even in the summer. Good you got the pics on here, I couldn´t do it somehow. Sorry I am new to the web and to computing.

Looks neat,

Conversion is $511 Australian with no shipping.....wouldn't be that much, maybe $80.

Still less than half the MRT sump for $1200...

Hey Subaru Boxer, would you be ablt to give us an approximate cost for the shipping from your end...I may get one, as by the time I stuff around here trying to do it myself it will cost that anyway.

oil pan

Hi Guys,
I thought I'd share a link to a company here in the states that sells shortened pans. They are cut down and rewelded but the price seems to be o.k. . Their address is http://www.offroadbuggysupply.com
Its just a tiny page but they have alot of parts.
Hope this helps,
Bob

They retain stock engine mounts and are presure tested prior to shipping.

Hi Matt,

shipping to Sidney with UPS would be 175 €. It would be best to make a collective order. But maybe you should wait a little, because they are working on a stainless steel header 4-in-1. I emailed them and ask for their english ability. English is no problem for them. Here is the email address:

Hi

Im going raise my motor about 25 mm. Looking at my oil filter, its almost as low as the bottom of the sump, so i thought I might mount it remotely.

If anyone wants to look at group buy on these alloy sumps let me know.

Hey Steve, hows it all fitting any photos yet?The dark side has another victim. All the sumps look good,i still think it would be cheaper to shorten your own sumps.Ill check how much mind cost and let you know. There deffently was now internal work done .JVLRacing
