Pictures are available. Car is currently listed on Ebay, have a look at:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7127342127...

Asking price - $19,000 ono.

This seems to be reasonable as similar models are for sale online for $19,900.

This 4th Generation Golf has been my pride and joy. I have owned it for over 2 years and it has been nothing but a pleasure to drive. It has never broken down in that time, and has been regularly serviced by an authorised VW service centre. I have always used 100% synthetic engine oil (Agip) and changed it regularly, along with the oil filter. I've looked after it carefully and it is always parked undercover. The paintwork still looks beautiful. In cold AND warm weather, the car has always been warmed up before driving.

I have recently installed new brake discs and pads (OEM VW), receipts are available.

The interior smells fresh and is very tidy. All interior plastics show no signs of sun damage or cracking and are in excellent condition. There are no rips or tears in the upholstery. The stereo sounds excellent (especially for a factory unit - of course aftermarket gear will sound better still) and I'm constantly surprised with the tight mid-bass that comes from the speakers. It is proof that the doors are carefully put together. The windows also wind up and down faster than any Japanese car I've ever seen! At night time, the interior is a view to behold with red backlighting on dash controls and blue dash instrumentation - if you haven't seen this before, it really is a stunning effect.

The car is wonderfully smooth and quiet with minimal wind/road noise. It is economical to run and I recently clocked up 770kms of highway driving from a single 55L tank! This is a great example of prestige AND economical motoring.
