69 Type 3 Convertible

Hi all, I have a 69 Type 3 Convertible in mint condition. I havent been able to find many others, both here and overseas. Any info or pics that other people might have of either their own or of others would be great.[/font]

first bit of info is that there never was a factory T3 convertible (although a prototype was built), so yours is an after market job. would love to see some pics, ther is one other one here, a fasty i think it is owned by purplet3

Yep, that would be me.
She's a 72 model fasty. Not in mint condition, but I'm working on it.

I know mine is a aftermarket conversion, VW made 3 prototypes in 1970. One is in the German motor museum and thte other two cant be found. Because these do look so cool and are so rare, I'll never get rid of mine. The pic attached is of when I bought her. I'll post the completed pics soon. Thanks.
