Pics Of My Car At Final Battle 2002
Just thought I'd share these pics from Novermber 2002. The AutoSalon series is Australia's largest after market modified car show and I had
the only old type Beetle there (ever). There was only 1 NB.
I couldn't win any awards because the show is for post 86 models. I only got in because of my affiliation with Car Audio Australia. But
I'm happy to say there were a lot of enthusiastic Beetle fans (and some late model car-lovers who were impressed also) who came up to talk to me
and I kept the presence of Beetles alive and well!

I think I saw one of those front fender accessories in one of those rare WCM catalogues - it was a RHD optional accessory only as far as I know.:kiss

Wes, I'm sure you've got one of them laying around somewhere... Actually, on the Fraser trip I'm sure you brought it with you, but you
didn't have it mounted, as I recall, it was just lolling around on the passenger seat...

you could get your old ornament refurbished, but it's kinda expensive and never looks as good as it used to.
I think your best off to just get a new one.
