Subaru Temp Problem
Have fitted an Ea82 to my baja. Having trouble getting it to run cool. The radiator ids mounted at the back on an angle very equyilvant to the deck
lid. It cools fine when driving normal, but once you apply the boot drive hard 4 -6 000 rpm the heat climbs to 100 - 110degrrees celcuis. It
currently fitted with a large thermo sucking through the radiator. Its shroud on the back in aim to increase the draw area. It idles fine any period
of time. Interested to see how other people mount their radiator at the back and if its a success. Just wondering about other peoples idea.

Caryyout a multidude of temp tests and everything appears to be fine, seemed to have a dodgy ( new ) temperature gauge.

I think you need to get some more air to the radiator.
I had a similar problem with my radiator in my buggy. It is also mounted on the back of the car at the same angle as a bootlid. I did some testing on
the freeway and found out that there was a big vaccuum at the back of the car that meant the Radiator was getting almost no air on the freeway at
100KM/H +. In the end, I partially boxed the radiator in so it wasn't getting hot air off the engine. Then I made up a scoop to channel the air from
over the guard round in front of the radiator. You can check out my design here.

you might need to think about a way of forcing air through yours, however, ultimately the rad will work best at the front of the car.
