Hello,
I built a subaru EA81 engine into my '72 beetle, but I cant get in running well.
Can anybody tell me wich cilinder is cilinder 1 and how I count further (clockwise or not).
I know that the firing order is 1-3-2-4 but than still have to know wich cilinder is wich number?

On the EA 81's I've seen the cyclinder nos are cast into the engine casing.
Once you go flat, you never go back!!!!!!
