what year is my engine from?

I need to know the engine's make so I can get a wiring loom for it.

Maybe someone can spot the year by looking at the engine pictures in the link. (I don't have the ECU with it and also haven't heard from the seller in a while, tried to ask him)

Somebody on here recently said you look inside the oil cap, the year is printed in two digits.

just checked and there's a little cirkel on that side with number 9 on the left side and number 6 on the right of it (that would make '96) and a number 8 is also on the bottem side of the oil cap
