Hell yeah!

Great idea it might get a few more people out and about and getting to know each other instead of talking to a computer screen, could be good to start some cool cruising:thumb:thumb

toybug (Dougie's) got spotted by two VWCV members on our way home from Bendigo yesterday. We'd stopped for petrol and a coffee in Gisbon when Andrew spotted toybug, stopped and came into the coffee shop to say hi. A few minutes down the highway Matt goes by, waving madly at us.

A couple of more waving episodes followed with Matt:D (Dougie was teasing a little)

Damn id be forever typing if i posted up every bug or vw i saw!!

I see at least a half dozen everyday.

A couple i see regularly:
One red superbug, purple decals down the side, looks stock, but the guy never EVER waves back. I gave up waving after a few months. :( Usually going opposite directions on the Cumberland Hwy NSW.

A really nice Green Superbug, with Centenery of federation plates. Another fairly stock looking bug apart from the paint. She finally waved back the other day!! :D

I see COOL56 out a bit. Caught up with him at my mechanics a while ago.
Verrrrrrrrry sweet bug.

Well I decided to do a reverse situation for a change.

Dougie and I commented on how nice it was of Andrew to actually stop and drop into the shop to say hi, his family was in the car, and all on the way home from a day out.

Then along comes Matt a few minutes later.

Mmm, toybug is not the sort of ride that people don't notice at the best of times, always kids and grown-ups having a good look as they pass in a car or they stop to comment if you are parked somewhere. There is a little boy across the road who waits for Dougie to take off in toybug and give him a toot:)

We do our own VW spotting on the road, sometimes only catching a glimpse of one pointed out to you 'cos your looking in the other direction for VW's, or at one.

Have a chuckle if you hear one pass as you're lying in bed:sandrine

I saw a very cool dark green panel van out the back of Kenthurst last Saturday. Safari's out - and a big smile - got to watch the bugs in the teeth though. Very cool.

Squiz.....
