Price is what it is for the people that want a good solid split to turn into the bus they have always wanted.
All you need is rego then drive it away.
No use asking some stupid amount for something that needs a bit of work.

Andy,Yeah mate all things air ride are going great!
Wont be long at all buddy....

This has to be the best value bus I've seen for sale in ages. If I had the space to store it I'd be over in a flash.

Man..a reasonably tidy splitty for 1800..and it runs! Someones gonna be stoked when they hand over the moula.

Consider it SOLD!!

I'll take it.
I've been hanging to get behind the wheel of a splitty again for ages.

Darn if only I had the money to put into retoring a bus right now.
This bus is perfect for a resto.

Oh, is that right???? I like dropped sills AND dropping the bus with an IRS and adjustable beam. The end visual 'look' lets the bus appear to be lower than it actually is, so can afford a better ride quality, esp if you want to put some weight in it. Plus it hides the jack points, so you get the added inconvenience of having to carry a dumb-ass jack.

I am fully into dropping buses any which way you can. Thanks for the rubbers Bob, turned up today, will fix you up over the weekend as promised! You didn't include the safaris but....nn[ Edited on 26-8-2005 by crewcabconnection ]

While we are on the subject of Splitties....

I have been looking for the right one for a while so may be intersted if Dan isn't.....

But on another subject I know of another splitty in Adelaide for sale but me being in Noosa cant really make the journey to look at it. I think its in pretty good shape from the photos, its had a prang on the front nose though.

I was wondering if anyone in Adelaide that knows splittys well might check it out for me.....

About 3 months ago, someone from the forum looked at an early bay in Melbourne for me and I ended up buying it.... shipping $600.... about $900 from Adelaide.

If someone has got the time, would be most appriciated. Its going to be my first spitty so all advice needed.

Cheers

Dozza

each to there own i just dont like them (drop sills)that is , dont want to hi jack this thread , but one more thing if you use dropped spindles the ride will drop 3.5 inches and ride like stock with adjusters its going to be a pain in the ass literally like in my bus at the moment , you want ride quality fit some spindles, you want it on the deck spindles with adjusters and the ride is down there as low as you want and still smoother than all the way down on adjusters

sorry about the hi jack
