Installing Bullet Mirrors?
G'Day
It has been a while since I last posted.
I have purchased a "bullet" style mirror. The style of mirror often found on 50's/60's sports cars & many "old school" cal-look cars.
How do I mount the mirror?!!!
Locating the mirror & drilling the holes are easy, but tightening the mirror's bolts/nuts from inside of the door frame is proving to a a real bitch
of a job.
Has anyone had experience in mounting a bullet mirror?
Thanks,
Zayus

where abouts are you trying to mount it??? for the most part people will fit them so that the bolt comes trough where the rubber door seal is,so
that u can pul the seal out get it all nice and tight, trim the bolt down if needed and re fit the seal. (this is of casue if your talking about that
style) If your talking about the ones fitted on the side near where the original mirrors go then once again it depends on where your trying to mount
them. worst case is you will have to pull your door apart to be able to reach the nuts....
