Transformation of our Beetle to BAJA
Over the weekend we transformed our beetle to a BAJA.
Lots of thanks to Tom, Sue and William-- Traumin
Micheal and Moniek-- ibmoknegawsklov and-- Mrs M
for all their help and that fact that we used Tom, Sue and William's shed
Oh I nearly forgot to thank Ted the supervisor

It was suggested that we paint the wheels yellow and the roof purple, but thought against a Bennetton paint job. Will be painted around Christmas a
blue color, close to Suburu blue

Great work. Nice set of bars also. This bring back memories of my 3 Bajas I had in the 80s. Converted one in a weekend.
It's pretty exciting seeing a transformation from a road car to something that you can get a whole lot more excitement out of. For the purists
looking at the cutting pictures it was probably like listening to fingernails scratching down a chalkboard
Look forward to the painted pictures.
