FS: 65? single cab Ute.
G'day to all, my mate has asked me to sell his 65? single cab Ute.
It has not been on the road since 1979 and it's in need of a total restoration.
He tells me that he did drive it off his trailer and drove it half way up a hill when
a spark plug blew out but it made it up the hill on 3 cylinders! The fuel tank is rusted
along with some of the body but it is fixable (We've fixed worse) here are some pics
I could not find the body plate and the LHD will not open.

I well be going buck out there on the 22nd of OCT if you wont more pics or info
you can email or pm me or Ring the owner He's not VW orignated so if you ask
"whats the engine?" you'll most likely get told an aircooled VW one!

Yep Probably! Just keep it a secret or being a cocky he'll have to "fire a warning shot over their heads" Just aim with both eyes closed!

Picked her up today !!
Usual Kombi rust problems...Sills , dog legs , nose .cargo floor. Gates are very good ( Not bowed some rust in RHS easy fix ) Tray is in good nick as
too is the interior. Looks pretty solid underneath one jacking point needs replacement......
I asked Ian to post some pics of the journey home , there are some images that will be familiar to alot of you.
What have I done !!!!!!!!
