lhd bug at Barbagallo Raceway

Once again this year Thomas brought out his bug for a caning at the recent wascc Regularity event. For all the general photos visit my site http://www.circlework.com.au  but here's a few choice ones of Thomas in action!

It's good to see another beetle on the track. This one looks well turned out and the guy obviously has the balls and the skills to dive it hard.

Excellent!

The car looks well set up with good suspension travel and R-spec tyres.

The shot of him sideways is excellent. Boy that would be fun.

I can't wait to race my car again. I think I need to drive a bit harder after seeing those shots.

Thomas is from Germany....He built the car there and brought it with him when he immigrated.
When last I spoke to him, the car was running N/A TIV which I believe is based on a 914 crankcase. It is good to see him out there flying the flag. No one else that i know of has done anytime around Wannaroo and I think Im the only guy to run in Classic Rally's, Autokana's, Sprints and Hillclimbs here in WA.... There are a few others out there with cars that are capable...We just gotta get them out there!
