removing front seats of a 1973 bug
hi all,
i am attempting to remove the front seats of my 1973 bug but cant seem to find a way to get them out. any info would be great.

from memory when you slide the seat forward as far has it will go on one of the slides there will be a latch that will move and allow the seat to come
out

so it slides of the rails???
i read that to get the seat to slide of the rails there arre some clips that need to be removed. would you know ne thing bout that??

The latch is attached to the rails that the seats slide on, the front of the rail on the tunnel side if you slide the seat right forward and have a
look at the side of the seat look down to the floor next to the tunnel you will see a flat bit off steel about 3cm long push it down and the seat
will slide forward and off the rails.
