Port Macquarie area: Need a loan (or v. cheap rent) of a car trailer/float
I was recently lucky enough to return to my parked '61 bug to find a note on the windscreen offering me two complete cars for free ('60 & '67
beetles). The '60 has been in a shed on a dairy farm for 13 years and looks like it will be a pretty easy resto, the '67 is in the same place but
has been outdoors for 7 or 8 years, it should be good for plenty of parts.
My problem is I am broke (no work since August '05) and paying to commercially hire a trailer will be very difficult. I have a mate that can lend me
a diesel ute for towing.
Is there anyone within an hour or so of Port Macquarie that could lend (or v. cheap rent) a suitable trailer to me?
If I can't organise pickup in the next month or so, the guy is going to dig a hole and bury them on his property!!!!!:o

Thanks for your generous offer Dumone, but it's looking like I won't need to take you up on it. I start work next Monday (yay!) and I found a
trailer I can hire for a day for 50 bucks.
I might be in Valla this weekend, U2 me and we might be able to meet up.
