Kombi road Tests
What magazine do I find a contempory road test of (as close as possible) Kombi 73 to 76 Auto Camper
Road tests of Kombi's or in fact any van are hard to find at Swapmeets, simply because they are so multi purpose

Brooklands Books publish compilations of old road tests, in book form, for many makes and models. There are 13 different Volkswagen ones, including 3
on the Kombi (pre '67, '67-'79 and '79-89). They're great. There are tests from magazines from the US, UK, Australia and
South Africa in there.
Your local Automotive specialist bookshop should be able to get it for you. In Sydney there is Bookworks at Punchbowl, Motorworks in the city and
Kirby's I think they're called at Mosman.

No problem, happy to help. I have all three of the Kombi ones and many of the other VW Brooklands books too.
Yes you're right, I forgot the Parramatta book shop. Never been in there! There's also Pedr Davis' Marque bookshop which used to be in
Blakehurst, but I think they moved to Janalli.
Last time I bought one of these books, they were about $35 each I think. Pretty good value!
