paint bubbles
Thanks for the basics on bodyfiller
It did make a difference
attached are the photos of some interesting bubbles in the paint that appeared 4-5 days after finishing
The process was as follows
1. grind off all rust
2. apply rust treatment
3. wash off rust treatment
4. apply filler
5. apply final coat top filler
6. apply primer
7. apply paint
all layers allowed to dry
8. appear bubbles!!
Why?????
is it the incomplete removal of the rust treatment

Could it be from moisture in the air line? . Same thing happened to me and a water filter just before the paint gun seemed to sort it out

Oh yeah its fairly humid - port macquarie. Very humid that day in fact, I was working in underpants and still sweating buckets.
Given that half of populated Australia is humid how do I avoid this?
Do I have to wait for a dry day or should I drive south?
also which layer is the problem? is it just the color coat??
