Reversing window wipers.

Does anyone know how to do this?
My wipers are set for LHD configuration, so the most amount of vision atm is given to the passenger.

How can i reverse the direction the wiper blades go?
can i get a motor that spins the other way or what? TY

You have to shift the assembly across.
My Veronika is ex-LHD but it was originally RHD wipers so it has been shifted across once before.

the position in which the arms are mounted will probably be offset more to one side of the car than the other... think you have to move them to the other offset position.

see.... air and water do mix ;)

Yeah, by shifting I mean cutting and welding the arm drive. May sound like a lot of work, but like I said it's been done on my bug and it looks quite simple.
Of course this would only be useful if you were to repaint the car anyway, but if you were'nt I'll try out a few things on my bug to see what I come up with.
This is my bug pre RHD conversion, but the wipers are still as they are in this shot.

They had been changed to this configuration when it was originally converted to LHD.
Confusing, yes?

OHHHHHHHHHHH, i thought they were directly in the centre.
hmm, bugger.
think i'll leave it then, i thought maybe it was likea matter of changing the arms are the motor to an rhd style, not a matter of cutting and shifting the arm mount points across.

No trust me that's not where they're meant to be, but yes I am talking about the hole where the shaft comes through.

i'm going to see my bug today, will look att where the offset is, coz the drivers side arm on mine needs to be raised abit as to not hit the A pillar. may look into reversing them.
